Message #351: “A Fellow Laborer’s Farewell Instructions” Part 2 - Acts 20:25-38 November 25, 2018 Last week we tackled the subject of how understanding what Paul would not be moved from can both encourage and instruct us to follow in his Christ-like example. This week we will study the Scriptures to understand why an eternal/biblical perspective of this life is essential for a true disciple of Christ to live and die well. James 1:22 encouragement- In the church today it is not uncommon for us to profess belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and in His resurrection, while at the same time live as if there is no resurrection. In other words it’s possible to agree with the truth - but that truth have no effect on the way we think or how we make decisions on what we pursue. But we can find great encouragement and sound instruction by studying the life of the apostle Paul. Join us in this week’s study as we look to learn from and follow Paul’s example of an eternal/biblical perspective: one that effected everything from the way he lived among those whom he served alongside in Ephesus, down to where he would go by the leading of the Lord.
